When I got to this house my jaw dropped. It was bathed in white and had no personality, scale or texture. My job was to pump some life into this massive 8,000 square foot home that sported a 1990's look and get it ready to sell. The budget was small in comparison to the amount of work it needed, and not a stick of furniture or tchotchke was in the house. By changing out the white sub zero panels to stainless, retrofitting some candles to hang above the island (no electricity), placing a runner on the island, changing out the gold knobs on the cabinets, and hanging some beautiful white plates, the kitchen transformed into a lovely new space.
